Members of PFG with Argentina Meet with Argentine Delegation
The members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Argentina, met, at the National Assembly House, with a delegation of the Republic of Argentina headed by Ambassador Carolina Perez Colman, Foreign Policy Undersecretary at the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship.
Vladimir Orlic thanked the Republic of Argentina for the fact that it did not recognise the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo-Metohija and its support of Serbia’s European integration.
The Head of the PFG with Argentina informed the guests about the economic reforms conducted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, saying that a stable business system and the creation of an environment conducive to investment are some of the Government’s long-term goals.
Addressing the members of the PFG with Argentina, Foreign Policy Undersecretary at the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship Carolina Perez Colman said that Serbia and Argentina are committed to the use of diplomacy as a means of conflict resolution, thanking Serbia for its support of the territorial integrity of Argentina.
The members of the two delegations noted that there is room to boost cooperation in the spheres of economy, science, education and culture, also expressing interest in intensifying the cooperation between the Serbian and Argentine parliamentary friendship groups.
The meeting was also attended by PFG members Prof. Dr Branko Djurovic and Aleksandar Peranovic.
