In her opening address, the Head of the Negotiating Team for the Accession of the Republic of Serbia to the EU Dr Tanja Miscevic spoke about Serbia’s negotiating position within the international conference on the accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union for Chapter 23 – Judiciary and Fundamental Rights. She said that the negotiating position has been fully harmonised with the European Commission and all expected activities in the process need to be completed by the set deadline – the end of 2018.

Besides the members of the National Convention on the European Union, the meeting was also attended by representatives of the Judges’ Association of Serbia, Human Rights House and the Ministry of Justice.
