MP Tanja Tomasevic Damnjanovic at NATO Orientation Programme
MP Tanja Tomasevic Damnjanovic, substitute member of the National Assembly’s standing delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, will be taking a part in the NATO Orientation Programme, organised by NATO, 29 June-1 July 2015, in Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium.
During the programme, the parliamentarians will meet with some of the highest civil and military officials of the Alliance and representatives of NATO PA, including NATO PA Secretary General David Hobbs, NATO Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy Thrasyvoulos Stamatopoulos, NATO Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges Ambassador Sorin Dukaru and NATO Assistant Secretary General for Defence Investment Patrick Auroy. Also, the challenges and the role of NATO from the perspective of the allies and partners will be discussed by the ambassadors and standing representatives of Germany and Greece to NATO, as well as the Head of Serbia’s Mission to NATO, H.E. Miomir Udovicki.
Besides the representatives of the National Assembly’s standing delegation to the NATO PA, the NATO Orientation Programme will also be attended by parliamentarians from Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Armenia, Latvia, Morocco, Germany, Romania, Slovenia, Ukraine, Finland, Switzerland, delegations with the status of observer, as well as MEPs and representatives of the NATO PA International Secretariat.
