Italian Defence Minister Visits National Assembly
National Assembly Deputy Speaker MA Igor Becic and the Chairperson of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee Marija Obradovic met, at the National Assembly, with the Italian Minister of Defence Roberta Pinotti, currently in official visit to the Republic of Serbia.
National Assembly Deputy Speaker MA Igor Becic and Italian Defence Minister Roberta Pinotti also discussed modern security challenges and terrorism threats, agreeing that there is room there to boost defence cooperation since the countries need to act jointly in the matter.
The National Assembly Deputy Speaker also thanked Italy for its support of Serbia’s Euro-integration, while the Italian Defence Minister stressed that Serbia’s EU accession is to the mutual benefit of both Serbia and Italy.
