The Israeli delegation met members of the Israeli-Serbian Friendship Group of the National Assembly of the
Israeli parliamentary officials showed great interest for the adoption of restitution legislation in Serbia, which is of great importance not only for the Jewish community, but also for individuals and religious groups, including the Serbian Orthodox Church. They also asked the deputies for support for organising an event to mark the 80th anniversary of the Belgrade Synagogue, to be held next year.
