Health bills presented

The Health Care Bill and the Draft Health Practitioners’ Chambers Bill were presented on 7 October at the National Assembly.

The Health Care Bill and the Draft Health Practitioners’ Chambers Bill were presented on 7 October at the National Assembly. The presentation was organised in co-operation with the OSCE Mission to Serbia and Montenegro, and is a continuation of the practice of acquainting journalists with legislation before it comes up for discussion at the Assembly.

The attendees were greeted by the Chairman of the National Assembly, Predrag Markovic, who underlined the importance of acquainting the media with legislation that has already undergone discussion in public.

Provisions of Bills were the topic of speeches by the Minister of Health, Tomica Milosavljevic, and his associates from the Ministry, as well as of officials from the Health Law Institute, the Serbian Medical Society and the Private Doctors and Dentists Association.
