Gojkovic Sends Telegrams of Condolences to French Senate and National Assembly Presidents

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic sent telegrams of condolences to the President of the National Assembly of France Claude Bartolone and the President of the French Senate Gérard Larcher on the terrorist attack in Nice.

“We were deeply shocked by the news of the horrific terrorist attack in Nice, which we condemn most severely, and the death of so many innocent people on the holiday celebrating freedom. Allow me to extend deepest condolences on the behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and myself.

In this difficult moment we share the pain of the French people and extend full solidarity and sincere dedication to the defence of peace and the right to live without mindlessness. I am sure that unity and resolve to defend civilizational values will overpower violence. Please accept our sincere support and convey our condolences to the families of the victims of the horrible attack.”
