Gojkovic Sends Telegram of Condolences to Macedonian Assembly President

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic sent a telegram of condolences today to the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia Trajko Veljanoski on the loss of human lives in the extreme weather that struck Macedonia.

“We received the news of the devastating floods in Macedonia and of their human victims with deep sadness and disbelief. On the behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and myself, please allow me to extend our most profound solidarity on this tragic event.

It is difficult to find words of consolation in this terrible moment, but I am sure you will find the strength to build up what was destroyed in this natural disaster and assist the people who have lost those closest to them. Please convey our most heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims”
