Gojkovic Sends Telegram of Condolences on Attacks in Egypt

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic sent a telegram of condolences to Egyptian Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal Sayyed Ahmed on the attacks in Egypt.

“We were shocked and appalled by the news of the terrorist attacks on Christian churches in Egypt on the great Christian holiday and deeply saddened by the loss of innocent lives. On the behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and myself, please allow me to extend our most sincere condolences.

We severely condemn all acts of terror and express solidarity with the Egyptian people in the preservation of civilizational and cultural values against violence. The Republic of Serbia is committed to the right to live, peace and stability. We express full support in the protection of these values from the evil of terrorism and extremism, with the assurance that decisiveness and reason would prevail over senseless violence”.
