Gojkovic Sends Telegram of Condolences on Attack in Egypt

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic sent a telegram of condolences to Egyptian Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal Sayyed Ahmed on the attack on Coptic Christians in Egypt.

“We were shocked and appalled by the news of the terrorist attack on Coptic Christians in Egypt and its numerous innocent victims. On the behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and myself, please allow me to extend our most sincere condolences to you and the Egyptian House of Representatives.

At this difficult time, please allow me to express our firm commitment to the defence of life without extremism and belief that solidarity in the defence of this universal value would overcome the mindless violence of terrorism.

Please accept our sincere support and convey our condolences to the families of the victims with the hope that the wounded get better soon.”
