Gojkovic Congratulates Orthodox Easter

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic congratulates Orthodox Easter to the citizens of Serbia.

“I would like to congratulate the upcoming greatest Christian holiday to all the citizens of Serbia. May the joy of Easter, which symbolizes the triumph of life, fill you with the strength and optimism needed to overcome the challenges facing us not only in Serbia but the world at large. At the same time may Easter remind us of the Christian virtues of solidarity, dedication and humanity and inspire in us responsibility and love for our fellow men. Hoping that together, acting responsibly and with care for everyone, we will overcome these challenges, I urge you to spend Easter in prayer and in your own homes. Christ is risen!”
