George Furey and Anthony Rota Congratulate Dacic on Statehood Day

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received a congratulatory letter from the Speaker of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Commons of the Parliament of Canada, George Furey and Anthony Rota, on the occasion of Statehood Day.

The letter states:

“On the occasion of your statehood day, it is our pleasure, on behalf of the Parliament of Canada, to extend our warmest congratulations and the best wishes to you and the people of the Republic of Serbia let us take this opportunity to reiterate our commitment to promoting a better relationship between our parliaments through the exchange of ideas and best practises. Indeed, we believe that cooperation is the key to fulfilling the most noble aspiration of our societies and to building resilient institutions equipped to address unforeseen challenges.

Please accept the assurances of our highest considerations on this special day, as well as our best wishes for the well-being of the people of the Republic of Serbia.”
