Fourth Sitting of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality

At the sitting that started on 1 June 2025, the members of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality considered the Ombudsman’s 2022 Regular Annual Report, Ombudsman’s 2023 Regular Annual Report and the Ombudsman’s 2024 Regular Annual Report, presented by Ombudsman MA Zoran Pasalic.

Following a debate, the Committee adopted the Ombudsman’s 2022 Regular Annual Report, accompanied by a Conclusion Proposal, which will be forwarded to the National Assembly for ruling. The Committee also adopted the Ombudsman’s 2023 Regular Annual Report, accompanied by a Conclusion Proposal, as well as the Ombudsman’s 2024 Regular Annual Report, accompanied by a Conclusion Proposal, which will be forwarded to the National Assembly for ruling.

The Committee went on to consider the Commissioner for Protection of Equality 2022 Regular Annual Report, Commissioner for Protection of Equality 2023 Regular Annual Report and the Commissioner for Protection of Equality 2024 Regular Annual Report, presented by Commissioner for Protection of Equality Brankica Jankovic.

Following a debate, the Committee adopted the annual reports and conclusion proposals, which are all to be forwarded to the National Assembly for ruling.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Aleksandar Markovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Prim. Dr Nada Macura, Edin Numanovic, Ugljesa Grgur, Igor D. Jaksic, Prof. Dr Marko Milenkovic, MA Svetlana Milijic, Ivan Karic, Boris Bajic, Dr Muamer Bacevac, Prof. Dr Snezana Rakic, Dr Tijana Peric Diligenski and Rastislav Dinic.
