First Sitting of the Subcommittee on the Science and Higher Education

At the sitting held on 7 February 2023, the Subcommittee on the Science and Higher Education considered the state-of-play in science in the Republic of Serbia.

Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Jelena Begovic presented the current situation in the science sector and the Ministry’s plans for 2023.

The sitting was also attended by State Secretary at the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Vukasin Grozdic and Assistant Minister Marina Sokovic.

In the course of the discussion the Subcommittee members were informed in more detail about the activities and plans of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation.

The sitting was chaired by Subcommittee Chairman Prof. Dr Jahja Ferhatovic, and attended by the following Subcommittee members and deputy members: Prof. Dr Stojan Radenovic, Dejan Vasic, Dr Zoran Lutovac, Zika Bujuklic and Djordje Pavicevic, as well as MPs Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, Prof. Dr Tamara Milenkovic Kerkovic and Branimir Jovancicevic.
