First Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Scheduled
Today, the National Assembly Speaker, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic Dejanovic scheduled the First Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia for Thursday, 31 May 2012, starting at 10 am.
The following six-item agenda has been set for the First Sitting of the National Assembly, in line with Article 101 of the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, Article 16 of the Law on the National Assembly and Article 4 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure: verification of the MPs’ mandates, election of the Speaker of the National Assembly, election of the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, appointment of the Secretary General of the National Assembly, election of members of the National Assembly’s working bodies and election of members of standing parliamentary delegations to international institutions.
The sitting will be held at the House of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 13 Nikola Pasic Square.
