First Extraordinary Assembly Sitting in 2002 Convened
Nataša Micic, Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia convened the First Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2002 for Tuesday, 22 January, beginning at 10 a.
Nataša Micic, Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia convened the First Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2002 for Tuesday, 22 January, beginning at 10 a.m.
The sitting was convened on the anniversary of the constituent session of the present convocation of the National Assembly, on the request of 93 deputies from the Democratic Opposition of Serbia Deputies' Group. The agenda will include four Bills submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia: namely, the Bill on Local Self-Government, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on Court Fees, the Bill on the Budgetary System and the Bill Amending and Modifying the Penal Code of the Republic of Serbia.
The proposed agenda also includes a Bill on Determining Certain Competences of the Autonomous Province, submitted by the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, as well as a proposal of a Decision Repealing the Decision on the Formation of the Temporary Executive Council of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
The National Assembly will also discuss a Proposal of a Decision Modifying the Decision on Electing Members of Committees of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by deputy Cedomir Jovanovic, president of the Democratic Opposition of Serbia Deputies' Group.
