Fifty-Third Sitting of the Administrative Committee

At the fifty-third sitting, held on 3 December, the Administrative Committee considered the Republic Electoral Commission Report on filling a vacant deputy seat.

At the fifty-third sitting, held on 3 December, the Administrative Committee considered the Republic Electoral Commission Report on filling a vacant deputy seat. The Committee noted that the termination of term of office of deputy Dragan Vujadinovic, elected from the For European Serbia-Boris Tadic electoral list, left a vacant deputy seat at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, in line with the provision of article 88 of the Law on the Election of Deputies.

Since the Committee members had ascertained that the conditions have been met to verify the term of office of deputy Slobodan Gojkovic, the Committee proposed that the National Assembly note the verification of the newly-elected deputy’s term of office.

Regarding the request of the Democratic Party of Serbia-Vojislav Kostunica Deputy Group for the interpretation of article 235 of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, the Administrative Committee noted that the request had not been submitted by an authorised person.

At the sitting, the Committee determined decision proposals on fines for disturbing the order at the First and Fourth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2009, for deputies Elena Bozic-Talijan, Alaksandar Martinovic, Velimir Ilic, Tomislav Nikolic, Vjerica Radeta, Natasa Jovanovic and Zeljko Tomic.

The Administrative Committee decided that 185,285 RSD worth of funds from the National Assembly Solidarity Fund, be distributed to: SOS Telephone for Women and Children Victims of Violence (100,000 RSD), Micanovic Milenko from the village of Kostajnik for his daughter suffering from autism (60,000 RSD) and Caritas from Ruski Krstur for the distribution of food and heating fuel to socially endangered persons (25,000 RSD).

The sitting was chaired by Nenad Konstantinovic, Committee Chairman.
