The Bill was presented by representatives of the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs. According to a Governmental decision and the funds planned by the 2017 Financial Plan the pensions and compensations will be adjusted by 1.5% according to the law regulating the budget system. In line with the Law on temporary regulation of pension payment, the proposed provision has a protective character for beneficiaries whose pension amounts to 25,000 RSD, namely, the proposed amendment to the Law on temporary regulation of pension payment will affect pensions amounting to 15,000, 25,000 and 40,000 raising them, starting from December 2016, by the adjustment percentage stipulated by the law regulating the budget system.

The Committee members proceeded to adopt the Bill amending the Law on temporary regulation of pension payment, in principle.
