Fifth Sitting of the Committee on Interethnic Relations
The Committee on Interethnic Relations held its fifth sitting on 23 March. The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Miletic Mihajlovic, and attended by Jagoda Vjestica, Assistant Minister of Human and Minority Rights, Aleksandar Popovic, President of the Club of Bujanovac Natives in Belgrade, Svetislav Velickovic, Chairman of the Bujanovac Human Rights Committee, Bogoljub Milisavljevic, Chairman of St Peter and Paul Church Committee and Bratislav Lazarevic from Bujanovac.
The Committee on Interethnic Relations held its fifth sitting on 23 March. Following the discussion, the Committee members agreed that before the formation of an inquiry committee, the Committee address the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government and Government of the Republic of Serbia Coordination Body for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja so as to gain information on all issues regarding the current political and economic situation in Bujanovac.
Once they receive the information, the Committee will continue the discussion on the issue and adopt the appropriate proposals for further action.
