Exhibition Diego and Frida: A Smile Halfway Through the Path

Diego and Frida: A Smile Halfway Through the Path, exhibition co-organized by the National Assembly and the Embassy of Mexico, opened on 3 September at the National Assembly House.


The exhibition was opened by Mexican Ambassador Marco Antonio García Blanco in the presence of the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic.

Photographs by Guillermo Kahlo, Manuel Alvarez Bravo, Nickolas Murray, Edward Weston, Ansel Adams, Peter Jules, Guillermo Zamora and Juan Guzman reveal the passion between Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo, as well as the passion with which they took part in the leading social and political events of their time.

The exhibition is opened until 14 September.

Those interested to see it can do so every workday, having previously applied with the Education and Assembly Heritage Presentation Group to ascertain group and time of visit.
