Election Campaign Supervisory Board – Press Release

The Election Campaign Supervisory Board held its sixth sitting on 24 March 2022 to consider the memo it had received from Transparency Serbia concerning the media’s legal obligation to publish its political advertising tariffs.

In view of the electronic media’s obligation to publish political advertising tariffs before the beginning of the election campaign, acting in accordance with its authorities, the Election Campaign Supervisory Board recommends that all providers of media services publish their political advertising rates and clear criteria for calculating discounts for the users of these services.

The Election Campaign Supervisory Board believes that the publication of a price list of media services and discounts in the course of the election campaign would be good practice which should contribute to ensuring equal rights of all the participants in the election process.
