At the sitting held on 29 December, the Administrative Committee considered deputy Gordana Rajkov’s request to exercise the right to payment of the difference between the full salary belonging to a deputy fully employed at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia from 14 February 2007 and payments made under the Administrative Committee’s decisions by 30 November 2010. The Committee accepted deputy Gordana Rajkov’s request and approved the payment.

The Administrative Committee granted consent to the Rulebook amending and modifying the Rulebook on internal organisation and job systematisation at the Support Service of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia of 23 December 2010. Elaborating the amendments to the Rulebook, National Assembly Secretary General Veljko Odalovic emphasised the need for new job openings at the National Assembly Support Service. He reminded that the Law on the National Assembly and new Rules of Procedure envisage that the assembly budget be controlled by an internal auditor, and that a project aimed at the introduction of e-parliament is currently underway. In addition, new organisational units will be introduced which makes it necessary to open up new positions within some sectors and departments of the National Assembly. The reason for it is the National Assembly’s increased legislative activity in the upcoming period aimed at harmonising domestic and European Union legislation, said Odalovic.

At the proposal of National Assembly Secretary General Veljko Odalovic, the Administrative Committee passed a decision on the payment of 15 000 RSD as a lump sum financial assistance to employees with salaries below the average monthly salary in Serbia.

At the sitting, the Committee adopted a Document establishing the termination of duty of Radica Aleksic, Assistant Secretary General of the National Assembly – head of the Financial and Material Affairs Sector.
