Eighth Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 9 May 2024, the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues considered the resignation tendered to the post of MP by Sandra Bozic.

The Committee ascertained that the situation falls under Article 131, paragraph 2, item 6 of the Law on Election of MPs which lists resignation as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office and proposed that the National Assembly note the termination of the MP’s term of office.

The Committee members went on to consider the requests submitted by the Commission for State Aid Control and the State Audit Institution to hire new staff in 2024. The requests were presented by Dragica Jorgovic, members of the Council of the Commission for State Aid Control, and Dr Dusko Pejovic, President of the Council of the State Audit Institution.

The Committee also considered the request submitted by MP Nenad Milojicic and adopted the certificate allowing him to exercise the right to monthly cost compensation for apartment lease in Belgrade and the right to compensation for living separately from his family.

The Committee members also reviewed and gave a positive opinion to the request submitted by MP Goran Spasojevic, to assume another public post.

The Committee also considered the Secretary General’s notifications concerning the measures to maintain order issued at the First Sitting of the First Regular Session, held on 22 April 2024, and the First Special Sitting, 14th Legislature held on 1 and 2 My 2024.

The Committee also ascertained the Proposal of the Decision on the Organisation and Work of the National Assembly Support Service to be forwarded to the National Assembly for adoption.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milenko Jovanov, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Bojan Torbica, Jelena Milosevic, Dr Dragana Rakic, Goran Milikic, Miroslav Aleksic, Ivana Nikolic, Verica Milanovic, Olja Petrovic, Miroslav Petrusevic, Aleksandar Jugovic, Prof. Dr Miloljub Albijanic, Jasmina Karanac, Snezana Paunovic and Stefan Kitanovic.
