Eighth Meeting of European Union-Serbia Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee

National Assembly delegation comprising Dr Vladimir Orlic, Elvira Kovacs, Vesna Markovic, Prof. Dr Ljubisa Stojmirovic, Dragan Sormaz, Vesna Marjanovic, Dr Milorad Mijatovic, Dubravka Filipovski, Dusica Stojkovic, Nedjo Jovanovic and Vladimir Djuric left for Strasbourg today to take part in the eighth meeting of the European Union-Serbia Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC).


In the course of the two-day meeting the MEPs and National Assembly members will discuss the state-of-play of the pre-accession talks and the relations between the EU and Serbia, Chapter 23 including the judiciary, constitutional reform, basic rights and freedom of the media, economic developments, relations between Belgrade and Pristina and foreign, security and defence policy and cooperation.

The meeting will also be attended by representatives of the Serbian Government, Bulgarian Presidency of the EU Council, European Commission and the European External Action Service.
