The documentary is the result of years of cooperation between the National Assembly and the OSCE Mission in Serbia and is part of project “Budva Process” aimed at establishing and building dialogue between the female members of parliament from Belgrade and Pristina. The dialogue started in 2010 and, besides women parliamentarians from Belgrade and Pristina, it included women from the civil sector, academic community and the media.

Before the screening, the assembly was addressed by the participants of the “Budva Process, National Assembly Deputy Speaker and WPN Coordinator Gordana Comic, Kosovo Assembly MP Emilija Redzepi and representatives of the OSCE Mission in Serbia and in Kosovo Karin Wagner and Tatjana Shikoska. They emphasised the importance of the established dialogue and cooperation, underlining the women parliamentarians’ contribution to the normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina.

The documentary shows the course of the dialogue as the only means of solving the problems, and the experience the women gained and exchanged in the dialogue.

The women MPs, representatives of the civil sector, academic community and the media from Belgrade and Pristina have built communication and dialogue on common issues concerning women’s rights, the position of women and the problems women come up against in the society when it comes to employment, availability of healthcare, combating domestic violence and political representation.
