Defence and Security Committee Members Visit Military Intelligence Agency
The members of the National Assembly Committee on Defence and Security visited the Military Intelligence Agency (VOA) on 19 May 2009. The visit was realized in line with the Committee’s conclusion to visit all three security agencies in the Republic of Serbia.

The topic of the conversation with the representative of the VOA Director, Zdravko Jelisavcic, and his closest associates was the way to best implement the Committee’s role of parliamentary surveillance over VOA’s activities pursuant to the Law on the Basic Structuring of the Republic of Serbia Security Agencies.
The representative of the VOA Director, Brigadier General Zdravko Jelisavcic informed the deputies on the functions, competences, tasks, organization, functioning and vision of further development of the Military Intelligence Agency, as well as on other issues of importance for the Agency’s work.
Afterwards, the VOA administrators responded to the deputies’ questions concerning the VOA’s activities in 2008.
