Decision on the proclamation of a state of emergency
Starting from the fact that the murder of the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Zoran Djindjic, has endangered the security of the Republic of Serbia, as well as human and civic liberties and rights and the operation of state bodies, with the aim of discovering and apprehending the perpetrators of the assassination, based on Article 83, Paragraph 8 of the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, having received a reasoned proposal to that effect from the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Acting President of the Republic hereby issues thisDECISIONON THE PROCLAMATION OF A STATE OF EMERGENCY1. A state of emergency shall be proclaimed on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.

DECISION
ON THE PROCLAMATION OF A STATE OF EMERGENCY
1. A state of emergency shall be proclaimed on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
2. This decision shall be forwarded to the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and to the Government of Serbia.
3. This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia.
