Dacic Receives Numerous Letters of Congratulations on Appointment as National Assembly Speaker
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received congratulatory notes on his election to the post of Speaker of Serbia’s supreme legislative body from the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.
"I hope that the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia will continue to progress under your capable leadership. I am pleased to note the remarkable development of our bilateral ties in various fields, including politics, economics and culture, since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1989. I look forward to promoting close and diverse exchanges and cooperation between our two parliaments, as well as contributing to the further development of our bilateral ties. The pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus represents a hitherto unprecedented health, social and economic crisis around the world. I hope that we will be able to overcome this crisis and that life will return to normal as soon as possible. With the utmost respect, I wish you good health and all the best in the performance of your duties and response to the challenges inherent in your high office,” said Park Byeong-seug.
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama his heartfelt congratulations to Ivica Dacic on his appointment to new office and thanked him for the cooperation they have enjoyed so far.
"Under the impression of the meeting and conversation with you, I firmly believe that in your new, very important position, you will contribute to the further improvement of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the regional framework, to the peace, stability and progress of the neighboring countries and the common priority - integration into the large European family. It will be my pleasure to continue together with the ongoing process of improving the bilateral diplomatic and economic relations, as well as political dialogue. Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest respect," said Edi Rama.
