Constitutional and Legislative Issues Committee Chairman Talks to Representatives of OSCE Mission to Serbia

The Chairman of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues Djordje Komlenski met today at the National Assembly with the representatives of OSCE Mission to Serbia to discuss the procedure for the amendment of the Constitution.

Komlenski briefed the guest on the coming steps and procedures following the sitting where the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues ascertained that the Proposal to Amend the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the Government, was submitted by the party authorised by the Constitution in a timely manner and proper form.

OSCE Mission representatives Ivan Esquiva, Maurizio Salustro and Natasa Sakota wanted to know more about the Committee’s role in the adoption of constitutional amendments and inclusion of the expert public and interested parties in the debate on the amendment of the Constitution.
