Constituting session of the Republic Committee Charged with Monitoring Conflicts of Interest
The Republic Committee Charged with Monitoring Conflicts of Interest held its constituting session on 18 January.
The Republic Committee Charged with Monitoring Conflicts of Interest held its constituting session on 18 January. Until the election of the chairperson, the Committee was chaired by the Chairman of the National Assembly, Predrag Markovic. The first session was attended by the Minister of State Administration and Local Self-government, Zoran Loncar.
At the proposal of Committee member Slobodan Beljanski, Milovan Dedijer was elected chairman of the Republic Committee Charged with Monitoring Conflicts of Interest.
The session focused on the further activities of the Committee. In accordance with the Act on the Prevention of Conflicts of Interest, the Government of the Republic of Serbia is to create preconditions for the Committee’s activities. The Committee is to appoint its secretary, while a Service for Expert, Administrative and Technical Affairs is also to be formed.
