The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic, last evening conveyed his congratulations to Katalin Szili on her re-election as Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament.

‘I believe that the number of members of parliament who voted for you is yet another expression of confidence in your work during your previous term of office. Your election indirectly confirms that the Tolerance Programme and regional co-operation, begun at our initiative by our two institutions, and guaranteed by our signatures, will remain as successful as they have been over the past two years. Therefore I believe that co-operation between the two institutions we head will stay as fruitful as it has been in the past’, Mr Markovic wrote in his letter of congratulations to Ms Szili.
