The National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and OSCE are organising a joint round table entitled "Building an efficient system of committees for the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia" at the Serbian Assembly on Friday 18 April.

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Natasa Micic, and the head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia and Montenegro, ambassador Maurizio Massari, will sign the Agreement on Understanding, which is to define the provisions for support to the Committee on Defence and Security of the National Assembly.

Participants in the round table will include the President of the National Assembly, Natasa Micic, chairpersons of committees and representatives of deputies' groups, as well as two international experts, Peter Vanhoutte, chairman of the Belgian Parliament's Committee on Defence and Security, and Alan Dukes, director of the European Studies Institute in Dublin.
