On the occasion, the Secretary of the Common Services, Ferid Buljubasic, Secretary of the Expert Service of the House of Representatives, Bojan Ninkovic and Secretary of the Expert Service of the House of Peoples, Marin Vukoja, and associates, met with the Deputy Secretary General of the National Assembly, Mladen Mladenovic who briefed them on the work done by the National Assembly and National Assembly Service between 11 June 2008 and 5 July 2012. He stressed that, in addition to the reform and modernisation of the National Assembly’s work, the National Assembly Service successfully reformed its mode of operation and significantly improved its capacities in order to provide better quality of expert support to the MPs. Mladenovic briefed the guests on the type and character of the newly-adopted plan acts passed to define the strategic goals of the National Assembly Service in the period from 2011 – 2015, as well as how they would be achieved.

The delegation of the Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina also talked to the heads of the organisational units of the National Assembly Service. In the course of the meetings they shared experiences relating to duties performed in the spheres of internal audit and control, public relations, human resources, financing and the work of parliamentary groups, international relations and protocol.

The officials were pleased by the meeting and concluded that establishing long-term cooperation between the services of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the National Assembly Service was in their mutual interest.
