Belgrade NATO Week Participants Visit National Assembly
The participants of Belgrade NATO Week visiting the National Assembly as part of the programme were addressed by MPs Dragan Sormaz, Vesna Marjanovic and Dragan Sutanovac.
MPs Vesna Marjanovic, member of the National Assembly’s standing delegation to the Council of Europe PA, and Dragan Sutanovac, member of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee, discussed Serbia’s relationship with NATO with the participants of Belgrade NATO Week and the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in the field of security.
Belgrade NATO Week, organised by the Centre for Euro-Atlantic Studies, aims to inform young members of political parties in Serbia about the functioning of NATO, the regional and global challenges the organisation comes up against, its relationship with other global organisations and the EU's common defence and security policy, through lectures, dialogue and visits to the institutions of the Republic of Serbia.
