At its sitting scheduled for 12 September, the Administrative Committee discussed the Report of the Republic Electoral Commission on Filling a Vacant Seat at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by the Committee’s vice-chairman, Petar Cvetkovic.

The Committee noted that a deputy’s seat had been left vacant with the termination of the mandate of deputy Dr Miroslav Nedeljkovic. Based on the Report of the Republic Electoral Commission, the Committee proposed that the National Assembly should note the confirmation of the mandate of deputy Dragan Todorovic, elected from the Serbian Radical Party – Dr Vojislav Seselj Electoral List. The sitting was adjourned after discussion of this item concluded; deputies are to be informed of the date set for resuming the sitting.

When the sitting continued, on 18 September, the Administrative Committee adopted, without previous discussion, the Proposal of the Decision on the Formation and Activities of the Commission to Conduct Internal and Public Job Advertisement Procedure for Positions at the Support Service of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.

The Administrative Committee discussed – without a decision-making quorum – the Decision on Activities of the Service of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and the Regulation on Internal Organisation and Job Classification. These documents, as well as the Request of the Republic Committee Charged with Resolving Conflicts of Interest of 29 July 2006, had been submitted to the National Assembly for approval.
