69th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 1 November 2021, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the Bill on the Ombudsman in detail.


The Committee found all seven of the amendments submitted by the MPs, as well as the one amendment submitted by the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government to the Bill to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Jelena Zaric Kovacevic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Nevena Veinovic, Zeljko Tomic, Olja Petrovic, Vuk Mircetic, Luka Kebara, Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, Borisav Kovacevic, Dr Balint Pasztor, Toma Fila, Ilija Matejic, Milenko Jovanov and Violeta Ocokoljic.
