61st Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government
At the sitting held on 26 February, the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government discussed and accepted, in principle, the Bill on the Salary System of Employees in the Public Sector, Bill on General Administrative Procedure, submitted by the Government, and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Territorial Organisation of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by MP Dr Branislav Blazic.
The Committee then proceeded to accept and submit to the National Assembly for adoption the Proposal of the Decision on the election of judges to judicial office for the first time, submitted by the High Judicial Council on 22 February 2016.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic and attended by Committee members and deputy members Velinka Tosic, Vuceta Toskovic, Balint Pasztor, Tanja Tomasevic Damnjanovic, Svetislav Vukmirica, Biljana Stosic Ilic, Mirjana Andric, Nedjo Jovanovic and Biljana Savovic.The sitting was also attended by MP Prof. Dr Branislav Blazic, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Dr Kori Udovicki, and other representatives of the competent ministry.
