60th Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 25 November, the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues reviewed the Fiscal Council’s request to employ new staff and for additional recruitment, as well as the request of the State Audit Institution to employ new staff.


Fiscal Council member Vladimir Vuckovic elaborated the request to employ new staff and for additional recruitment. The request states the need to employ three junior officers and recruit additional four persons under temporary and occasional service contracts to provide expert service in the Fiscal Council’s scope of work, starting 11 December 2015 to 31 December 2015.

The Committee members unanimously decided to grant the consent requested for full employment and additional recruitment at the Fiscal Council’s Support Services.

The Committee also reviewed the request of the State Audit Institution to employ new staff, elaborated by Mirjana Markovic, State Audit Institution Secretary. The request states the need to employ new staff to fill 26 vacancies. The request also states that the employment of new staff to fill said vacancies adheres to the funds allocated to the State Audit Institution in the 2015 Budget Law and that the employment of new staff is necessary due to an increase in numbers of audit subjects. In addition, the Action Plan for the National Anti-Corruption Strategy envisages the strengthening of the capacities of the State Audit Institution via an increase in staff, to be able to complete audits of parliamentary political parties and ensure full financial and operational independence of the State Audit Institution.

The Committee members unanimously decided to grant consent to the request of the State Audit Institution to employ new staff.

The Committee members then proceeded to discuss the notification of the National Assembly Deputy Secretary General on the reprimand issued to MP Janko Veselinovic to maintain order at the Fifth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2015 and decided to fine MP Janko Veselinovic 6,892.78 RSD.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Zoran Babic.
