40th Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 7 December 2021, the members of the Foreign Affairs Committee considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of India to Grant Consent for the Paid Employment of Family Members the Staff of Diplomatic and Consular Representative Offices.


The Bill was presented by Jelisaveta Colanovic, representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stressing that the Agreement, on the principle of reciprocity, regulated the paid employment of family members the staff of diplomatic and consular representative offices.

The Committee members proposed, by majority vote, that the National Assembly accept said Bill.

The Committee members went on to adopt initiatives for visits and noted the coming regular activities of the National Assembly’s standing delegations, as well as adopted reports on visits realised and noted parliamentary and other contacts realised.

The Committee also noted the changes to the composition of the PFG with the Republic of Korea.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Prof. Dr Zarko Obradovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Ana Karadzic, Stefan Srbljanovic, Ljiljana Malusic, Dr Milorad Mijatovic, Lav-Grigorije Pajkic, Djordje Todorovic, Milan Jugovic and Vesna Markovic.
