29th Sitting of the European Integration Committee
At the sitting held on 22 November 2021, the members of the European Integration Committee considered, in principle, the Bill amending and modifying the Customs Law.
Representative of the Ministry of Finance Milka Zivanovic presented the Bill amending and modifying the Customs Law stressing that it is largely harmonised with EU regulations and adding that Negotiation Chapter 29 - Customs Union, is also open.
According to her, this Bill is a step closer to European regulations, that is, it follows the amendments to the EU customs law.
The Committee members proposed that the National Assembly accept the Bill amending and modifying the Customs Law, in principle.
The Committee members went on to accept the initiative for a visit of the European Integration Committee to the Hungarian Parliament on 6 December 2021, to realise the activities defined by the Framework Partnership Agreement between the Hungarian Parliament and the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia signed on 5 July 2021 by the heads of the two parliaments. The delegation will comprise the following: Elvira Kovacs, Dusica Stojkovic, Predrag Rajic, Djordje Milicevic and Ana Miljanic.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Elvira Kovacs, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dijana Radovic, Ilija Matejic, Vuk Mircetic, Dr Muamer Bacevac, Stefan Srbljanovic, Ljiljana Malusic, Enis Imamovic, Ana Miljanic, Ana Pesic, Viktor Jevtovic and Dusica Stojkovic.
