26th Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee

At the sitting held on 29 December 2025, the Culture and Information Committee considered the decision to launch proceedings for the nomination of candidates for members of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media at the proposal of authorised nominators journalists' associations in the Republic of Serbia, associations of film, stage and drama artists, composers' associations in the Republic of Serbia and associations whose goals are the protection of children.

Committee Chairperson Nevena Djuric reminded the attending that on 19 December 2025, the following newly-elected members of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media nominated by the abovementioned proposers, had submitted resignations to the National Assembly in writing: Mileva Malesic, Ira Prodanov Krajisnik, Rodoljiub Sabic and Dubravka Valic Nedeljkovic, after which their term of office ceased on the same day.

Following a discussion the Culture and Information Committee adopted the Decision to launch proceedings for the nomination of candidates for members of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media at the proposal of authorised nominators journalists' associations in the Republic of Serbia, associations of film, stage and drama artists, composers' associations in the Republic of Serbia and associations whose goals are the protection of children.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Nevena Djuric and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Rastislav Dinic, Dr Emese Uri, Natasa Milic Milas, Dr Jovan Janjic, Nebojsa Bakarec, Sanja Jefic Brankovic, Dunja Simonovic Bratic, Natasa Jovanovic, Dusan Maric, Dr Ljubica Vranes and Lepomir Ivkovic.
