On behalf of the proposer, the Bill was presented by Ljubomir Jovanovic of the Ministry of Trade and Tourism. The development of winter sports and related tourism is making it necessary to design legislation to regulate issues of importance for the safety of skiers and other visitors of public ski resorts; this is the main aim of the Bill. A total of 29 amendments were submitted to the Bill – two by the Government, and 27 by deputies. The Government endorsed 6 of the deputies’ amendments, rejecting the remaining 21.
The sitting was chaired by the chairman of the Committee on Tourism and Trade, Rajko Baralic, and attended, in addition to Ljubomir Jovanovic, by Biljana Sujic, also from the Ministry of Trade and Tourism.
