17th Sitting of the Security Services Control Committee
At the sitting held on 18 October 2013, the Security Services Control Committee considered the Audit Report on the Security Information Agency 2012 Annual Financial Report, submitted by the State Audit Institution.
The Committee reviewed the State Audit Institution Report and approved the Report’s claims that the State Audit Institution had gained full insight into the veracity and objectivity of the Security Information Agency’s financial reports. The Committee endorsed all of the auditors’ recommendations, as well as the measures and activities conducted by the Security Information Agency in the course of the audit, based on the auditor’s recommendations. Even though the audit found no irregularities, and considering that the Agency has already begun to implement the auditors’ recommendations, the Committee said it expected the Security Information Agency to submit a report to the Committee on the implementation of the measures and auditors’ recommendations by the end of the year.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Jadranka Joksimovic.
