17th Sitting of the Security Services Control Committee

At the sitting held on 13 December 2017, the Security Services Control Committee reviewed and adopted the Military Intelligence Agency Activity Report. At the same sitting the Committee also reviewed the Proposal of the Rulebook on the Military Intelligence Agency Internal Control.


The Committee members ascertained that the Military Intelligence Agency Activity Report provides a comprehensive insight into the agency’s work and results in the reporting period. The Committee members gave a positive assessment of the Agency personnel’s work on the key tasks in the reporting period and gave them full support in the further pursuit of the priority tasks of monitoring and investigating the security situation in the world and the region, directing and planning the intelligence preparation and security of the Serbian Armed Forces, and on representing the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces abroad.

The Committee members offered full support to the security agencies’ coordinated efforts on the protection of the national interests and implementation of the security/intelligence policy of the Republic of Serbia.
