17th Sitting of the European Integration Committee

At the sitting held on 20 June 2025, the members of the European Integration Committee considered the Conclusion on the adoption of the National Programme for Adoption of the Acquis Communautaire (NPAA) for the first quarter of 2025, submitted by the Government.

In terms of formulating bills and adopting by-laws planned for the first quarter of 2025, the Government had a success rate of 47%, given that it formulated 17 regulations out of the planned 36, said the representative of the Government, Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starovic.

He added that the Government planned to determine three bills in this reporting period, as foreseen by the National Programme for the Adoption of the Acquis Communautaire, but due to the Government reshuffle, it did not formulate any of the three planned bills. Ministries and special organisations planned to adopt 33 by-laws, which are adopted at that level, of which 17 were adopted, which makes up 52% of the fulfilment.

Considering the regulations planned for adoption from the third quarter of 2024 to the first quarter of 2025, the NPAA has fulfilled 32.

Following a discussion, the Committee members adopted the Conclusion on the adoption of the National Programme for Adoption of the Acquis Communautaire (NPAA) for the first quarter of 2025, submitted by the Government.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Elvira Kovacs, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Robert Kozma, Dubravka Filipovski, Stanislava Janosevic, Goran Milic, Milan Radin, Dr Tijana Peric Diligenski, Branislav Josifovic, Dr Aleksandra Tomic, Ana Miljanic, Sanja Dzajic and Dunja Simonovic Bratic.
