The Bill, that is sections 26 and 36, was presented by the representatives of the submitters Borko Petrovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Marija Ignjatovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, and Milica Milenkovic of the Ministry of Finance Budget Sector. The education budget for 2026 was increased by 13% compared to the 2025 budget and amounts to around 425 billion dinars, 318 billion of which comes from the budget and 107 billion from other sources. The budget for science, technological development and innovation for 2026 was increased by 8.55% compared to 2025 and amounts to over 39.6 billion dinars.

In the continuation of the sitting, the Committee considered the proposal for the establishment of a Subcommittee Following a the discussion, the Committee members decided to establish a Subcommittee on Youth and elected MP Nikola Lazic as its Chairman, and MPs Sanja Dzajic, Zivota Starcevic and Stefan Kitanovic as members.
