177th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 12 February, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues deliberated on the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Culture and to the Bill on remedying the consequences of seizure of assets of Holocaust victims with no living legal heirs.


The Culture and Information Committee submitted an amendment to Article 42 of the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Culture, and the Committee members found it to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues also deliberated on the two amendments submitted to Article 21 and Article 23 of the Bill on remedying the consequences of seizure of assets of Holocaust victims with no living legal heirs by the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government and found them to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, and attended by Committee members Balint Pasztor, Jasmina Obradovic, Mujo Mukovic, Petar Petrovic, Dragan Nikolic, Svetislav Vukmirica, Zarko Micin and Dragan Polovina.
