16th Sitting of the European Integration Committee

At the sitting held on 7 June 2025, the members of the European Integration Committee considered, in principle, the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Public Information and the Media and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Public Media Services, both submitted by the Government.

The bills were presented by Assistant Minister of Information and Telecommunication Dragan Traparic, and after a debate the Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept them in principle.

The Committee then selected a delegation, comprising Committee members Milan Radin, Zivota Starcevic, Stanislava Janosevic and Ana Jakovljevic, to take part in the interparliamentary meeting on the topic “EU reform with a view to future enlargement”, organised by the European Parliament, to be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 24 June 2025.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Elvira Kovacs, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Ana Jakovljevic, Robert Kozma, Dubravka Filipovski, Stanislava Janosevic, Dr Ivan Rajicic, Sanja Dzajic, Zivota Starcevic, Milan Radin, Dunja Simonovic Bratic, Dr Tijana Peric Diligenski, Dragan Jonic, Dr Aleksandra Tomic and Branislav Josifovic.
