168th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 25 January, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues reviewed an amendment submitted to the Bill on Public Peace and Order.


Before commencing the proceedings, at the proposal of the Committee Chairman the agenda was expanded to include a discussion on the amendments submitted to the Bill on Police and the Advertising Bill.

The Committee members found the amendment submitted to Article 12 of the Bill on Public Peace and Order by the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee reviewed the amendment, with correction, submitted to Article 57 of the Bill on Police by MPs Dubravka Filipovski, Velimir Stanojevic and Zlata Djeric and found it compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee members also reviewed the amendment, with correction, submitted to Article 54 and the amendment, with correction, submitted to Article 56 of the Advertising Bill and found them to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic and attended by Committee members Annamaria Vicsek, Tanja Tomasevic Damnjanovic, Svetislav Vukmirica, Zarko Micin, Nedjo Jovanovic, Prof. Dr Vesna Besarovic, Branka Jankovic, Dragan Polovina, Zivan Djurisic and Petar Petrovic.
