15th Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 24 September 2024, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues considered the Decree of the Republic Electoral Commission on the allocation of MPs terms of office for the purpose of filling vacant seats at the National Assembly.

Acting in accordance with the provisions of Article 199 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, the Committee reviewed the Decree of the Republic Electoral Commission and Certificate on the election of MP Mirza Hajdinovic, elected from Electoral List SDA Sandzak – Dr Sulejman Ugljanin, and ascertained that the data on the election of the MP are identical to the ones in the Decree of the Republic Electoral Commission allowing for the verification of the term of office of the newly-elected MP. By Report, the Committee proposed that the National Assembly note the verification of the term of office of the newly-elected MP.

The Committee went on to give a positive opinion to the request submitted by MP Prof. Dr Miloljub Albijanic to, in addition to his full-time employment in the National Assembly, take on 90% of additional work time – teaching at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Cacak, University of Kragujevac.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milenko Jovanov, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Marko Milosevic, Bojan Torbica, Jelena Milosevic, Goran Milic, Uros Djokic, Igor Jaksic, Verica Milanovic, Branimir Jovanovic, Dane Stanojcic, Olja Petrovic, Vojislav Mihailovic, Aleksandar Jugovic, Prof. Dr Miloljub Albijanic, Stefan Kitanovic and Srdjan Milivojevic.
